YOUR PROGRAM
Day 1 – Thursday, October 17 – Welcome to Venice
The adventure begins in Venice.
Upon your arrival at Santa Lucia station, I will welcome you and take you to our hotel for the stay.
Once all participants have arrived, we will get to know each other before heading out for a first photo session.
Meals included: Dinner

Day 2 – Friday, October 18 – Venice
We set off before sunrise to take our first photos in the San Marco district.
We then explore the Castello district, which is much less touristy. In the evening, we will take advantage of a night photo outing.
Meals included: Full board

Activities included: Visit to the San Marco and Castello districts, night photo outing

Day 3 – Saturday, October 19 – Venice
We will visit the island of Burano with its colorful facades.
On the way back, we will stop on the island of Murano to photograph glass artisans at work.
Back in Venice, we will discover the San Polo and Dorsoduro districts and their lively streets in the evening.

Activities included: Visit to the island of Burano, visit to the island of Murano, exploration of the San Polo and Dorsoduro districts

Day 4 – Sunday, October 20 – Venice
Photos at San Marco Square and shots from the top of the San Marco tower, where you can see the entire island.
We then head to the Dorsoduro district for different views of Venice.
We will end the day with an overall debrief and photo critiques.

Day 5 – Monday, October 21 – Venice
Last sunrise for long exposure photos or detailed silhouettes.
Return to the hotel for breakfast and the final debrief of the trip.
We will head back together to Santa Lucia, where you will take your respective transport.

YOUR AMBASSADOR DURING THE TRIP
In 2013, Alexandre Gendron left Paris and the corporate world to devote himself to photographing the dancers of the Byron Ballet in Australia. Subsequently, he collaborated with the Wanaka tourism office in New Zealand, his photos attracting the attention of tourism entities and magazines, including National Geographic. At the same time, he works with clients in the fields of architecture and events.
In 2016, motivated by adventure and environmental concerns, he returned to France by bike and hitchhike, documenting the journey of 14,000 km by bike and 8,000 km by boat to Vietnam. There, he spent 8 months studying Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga.
In 2019, after a year of traveling in France by van, he settled in Annecy, at the foot of the Alps. As a versatile photographer, he collaborates with Sotheby’s, luxury hotels and real estate, tourist offices, brands and businesses. With his experience, he likes to share his passion through photography workshops and travel experiences.

A photo critique session
Visiting a glassworks
- The program may change depending on your preferences and the weather conditions.
- At least 2 photography courses on different subjects will be offered, according to your preferences.
- A photo critique session is scheduled to help you improve in your practice.
- Rest possible upon request, then organization to rejoin the group.
- Suitable for all levels of photography with a focus on creativity.
- Required equipment includes a camera, lenses, tripod, filters, computer/tablet with Lightroom, photo backpack.
- No significant elevation gains, expect about 7 km of walking per day in Venice. Boots necessary for high tide.
